Stewart’s “Moderate” Fans Holding Up Cantor as Hitler Signs

Posted on | October 30, 2010 | 7 Comments

MSNBC, of all places, has the pictures:
People wear masks and hold up anti-Republican signs in front of the National Gallery of Art during the Comedy Central 'Rally to Restore Sanity And/Or Fear' on Saturday.

I don’t know about you, but nothing says “restoring sanity” to me like depicting a Jewish person as a Nazi.

More “moderate” and “sane” signs from yesterday’s rally here.

I finally saw a crowd shot of Stewart’s LibFest – about a 1/10 of the size of Beck’s rally

Yeah, but CBS (like Comedy Central a Viacom subsidiary) is claiming it’s more than twice the size of Beck’s. I guess they didn’t learn their lesson from that whole national guard memo forgery thing in 2004.

They did not learn because it’s still that Journolist crowd, whi thinks they are smarter then the rest of the proles (aka general public).
Hey, guys, I know some of you sail – I’m looking for a 25-footer, mid 80s, preferably with fixed wing keel for under $6,000. If without trailer, I would prefer on Chesapeake. If anyne knows of any such boat for sale, let me know. There are a lot of those boats, but calling them fixer-uppers would be generous…

    Piotr,
No leads on any sailboats, but I am interested in how that goes for you. Keep us updated.

    Piotr,
I had some Zywiec beer a couple of weeks ago. Pretty good stuff.

Jeff, Zywiec is (in my opinion) the best Polish beer out there, although it is not pasteurized in Poland, so the hops aroma is MUCH stronger. Tyskie (an adjective from the name of town where it’s brewed – Tychy [ch is pronounced the same as [h]) is the most popular in Poland, but not as good.
The boat issues – I’m selling my 1989 Catalina Capri 18 and have an eye on a 1986 Hunter 23 (like it because it’s really good in light winds) and a 1981 Hunter 25 – completely different boats as in DAYSAILER vs. CRUISER, both seem in a great condition, and the 25-footer is actually cheaper (no trailer). I’ll keep you posted.
